The Legacy of Y & M AKI
The roots of our apex body, Y & M Anjuman Khairul Islam, began in the pre-independence era in 1927 under the dedication to the noble cause of education and welfare. What started with 6 orphans and 2 students has now transformed into an inspiring journey running 5 Orphanages and 50+ Educational Institutions empowering over 23,000+ students across the nation.
In 1952, under the stewardship of the management, the trust was formalized and registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 (PTR No B-399 Mumbai), marking a monumental milestone in technical advancement.
